Here are some pics from Stamperstock 2004, a music festival
in Carlisle, PA. Special thanks to Dave Kann and Dean Dusinberre who hosted
the event, played the opening act (finishing with "Red House") and
graciously treated the band to a big breakfast before they headed back to
Long Island. Darcie Miner and Zero Gravity filled out the
bill. Interestingly, the name
Stamperstock is a play on Woodstock and the name of Dave's and Dean's band,
Stamper Lumber, which they derived from the hero's name (Stamper) in the
novel "Sometimes a Great Notion" by Ken Kesey (of One flew over the Cuckoos
Nest fame), written around the time Jimi was getting started." |
