Here’s a live version of “I Don’t Live Today” recorded at the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in Sept 2000 to commemorate the release of “The Jimi Hendrix Experience” box set, with Chris “Whipper” Layton on drums and Tommy Shannon on bass. Al Hendrix, Jimi’s dad, was standing 20 ft away from me…it was an amazing day–hope you dig it!

Thank you–this was a really special day, meeting Mitch Mitchell, Billy Cox and Jimi’s dad, Al Hendrix, for the first time…
